Flashbulb, the creator of the popular online physics-based construction game Trailmakers, and online brawler Rubber Bandits is seeking a talented Backend / Liveops Engineer to join our passionate team. If you are enthusiastic about pushing the boundaries of gaming technology, optimizing server code, and integrating with major platforms such as Steam, Xbox, and Playstation, we want to hear from you!

As a Backend / Liveops Engineer at Flashbulb, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the following:
- Developing, improving, and maintaining our backend infrastructure.
- Implementing matchmaking systems to enhance the player experience.
- Optimizing and enhancing server-side code for performance and scalability.
- Integrating with backend and profile systems on platforms like Steam, Xbox, Playstation, and mobile.
- Staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technological advancements.
- Collaborating with teammates to solve technical challenges and contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Writing, reviewing, and taking ownership of technical documentation.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should ideally have the following qualifications:
- Experience in building scalable multiplayer backend solutions.
- Familiarity with console development and integration.
- Previous game programming experience.
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in Unity and network layer development.
- Knowledge of Perforce for version control and Jenkins for build server.
- A passion for gaming and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the industry.
